Athletes, coaches and clubs

Coming to Australia to play, coach or train?

Sport visa run on a different clock. Seasons, trials and contracts don't wait.

We work with athletes, coaches and clubs on Temporary Activity (subclass 408) visa, and we know the questions nobody else asks. When your season starts. Who your club is. How long it will realistically take.

Padel, tennis, swimming, surf, football, rugby, martial arts and combat sports. If your sport isn't on the list, ask anyway.

For businesses & clubs

Hiring or signing someone from overseas?

Sponsorship is a process most businesses have never been through. That's exactly why we exist.

We manage the sponsorship, nomination and visa applications together, so they line up, and we keep you informed about your obligations once your worker is here.

DIY vs Nexo

How does Nexo compare to applying yourself?

Here's what actually changes when a registered migration agent handles your case.

Peace of mind

Reviewed, assessed, and lodged, always by a registered migration agent.

You submit without expert case review.

Applicant workload

We organise your evidence and prepare every form with you.

You research and compile everything alone.

Guidance in your language

Guidance in English and Spanish, explained the way a friend would.

Official guidance is often formal and hard to follow.

Visa expertise

Each visa category is handled by someone who specialises in it.

General DIY paths usually miss sport-specific details.

Price vs risk

Transparent fees, agreed upfront before you commit.

Low upfront cost, but higher risk of rework and delay.

Post-lodgement support

We track your application and stay with you every step of the way until a decision is made.

After submission, you are largely on your own.

WHY NEXO

Migration is a big life decision. It deserves a real person, not a portal.

A nexo is a link between people, points, and possibilities. That's the whole idea behind how we work: trust built through honest advice, real accompaniment at every step, and the professional rigour to get the paperwork right the first time.

Nexo means link The people on the other side of the paperwork are the whole point.

Real accompaniment

One dedicated migration agent, from first call to final decision.

Trust, built plainly

Straight answers about your options, your timelines and what it will cost.

Professional rigour

Our migration agent knows the fine print, so small mistakes don't cost you months.

The good part

This is what the paperwork is for.

A visa is forms, evidence and waiting. What it buys is a first season, a first semester, a first summer with everyone in one place. That's the part we're actually in it for.

FAQs about our services

Answers before you ask

Visa, timelines, cost, and what we actually do for you.

How long does the process take?

Timelines vary by visa and your individual case. We'll give you a realistic estimate for your situation in your first consultation, not a generic number.

What documents do I need?

It depends on your visa pathway. We'll give you a clear, personal checklist once we know your situation, so you're not guessing from a generic government list.

Can I bring my partner or family?

Some pathways allow this, others don't. We'll walk you through what's possible for your specific case.

What's the difference between a work visa and permanent residency?

A work visa is generally temporary and tied to a job or sponsor. Permanent residency lets you live and work in Australia indefinitely. We'll map out which pathway, or sequence of pathways, fits your goals.

Do I need a job offer first?

Some pathways require one, others don't. We'll tell you honestly which applies to you before you spend time chasing the wrong option.

What happens after the consultation?

If it's a fit, we map your strategy and route, then move into documents and lodgement together. If it's not the right fit yet, we'll tell you that too.

Let's find out where you stand

Tell us a bit about your situation and we'll come back to you with real options, not a sales pitch.
