Work in Australia for a specific purpose.
Specialised work, professional training, a season or an event with dates on it. There's a different visa for each.
These run on a different clock to migration. Shorter, more specific, and tied to what you're actually coming here to do.

Find the right pathway
400 | Temporary Work
Short-term, highly specialised work that calls for skills not readily available in Australia. A clear job, a defined period, in and out.
407 | Training
Workplace-based training in Australia, to develop what you already do or to meet a professional requirement.
408 | Temporary Activity
The broadest of the three. Sport, entertainment, events and other approved activities. It's the visa athletes, coaches and clubs come in on, and the one we know best.
How we work out which one
Tell us the job
What you're coming to do, how specialised it is, and who's asking you to be here.
Tell us the length
A short assignment, a training placement, or a season: the timeframe rules pathways in or out.
We tell you which fits
Straight answer, matched to the 400, 407 or 408, before you commit to anything.
We look at what you're coming to do, who you're doing it with and how long it needs to last, then tell you which of the three fits. And whether it leads anywhere afterwards, because sometimes it does.
Talk to NexoWrong subclass, and the dates don't line up.
A 400 filed as a 408, or a training placement that runs a week past what the visa allows: these are the mistakes that come from rushing the classification, not the paperwork. Tell us the job and the dates first. The visa follows from that, not the other way around.
Talk to Nexo
Tell us your dates. We'll tell you which visa.
Whether it's weeks or a season, we match the visa to what you're actually here to do, and tell you if there's a path beyond it.
